A New Challenge

I woke up in the morning seeing the clock pointing at 7:05. I rushed through the bathroom and and take things fast as I thought I will be going to be late for my first duty at the Department of Public Works and Highways as an immersing student. I checked my cellphone for some updates from my classmates and found out that they are already waiting. I felt nervous, rushing things up, set myself ready and arrived at the location on time.

We walked in the building, we saw some students from other schools immersing in the same organization as ours. We waited for about two and a half hour and get
deployed by the assigned personnel for us. We were divided into four groups, assigned in different departmens. Me and my classmate Jill were deployed at the comstruction department where we encoded some of their files and records.

At first it's kind an awkward thing working with the office personnels but then we adjusted to fit and slowly coped up with the others.

Moving Forward

Seeing students with their beloved parents together while walking through the aisle to light the candle in their hands is heart-warming sight of view. I am very thankful that my mother came to the event to witness and be one of the Send-Off Ceremony conducted for the students before they will be gone for immersion. Though my mother have lots of chores to do at home, she is still determined to go to our school and participate just what I ask her to. It made me feel how supportive my family is and it helps me as an encouragement to do things at my very best.

The moment came and we are the ones who are next in lighting the candle, I proudly stood up and walk with my mother through the center stage. I felt a tight squeeze in my heart realizing that it is my big responsibility to bring my self to success, bringing my family to the better future. It may be hard but I know they will be by my side to support and help me surpass everything. I will move forward, with them by my side.
